- Maintaining, developing and optimizing the system environment
- Installing and configuring hardware and software components
- Responsible for system log, performance and capacity monitoring
- Problem analysis and independent development of efficient solutions
- Participation in 2nd level support and on-call duty
- Planning, preparing and implementing exciting IT projects
- Managing licenses and creating technical documentation
- For the Berlin location: travel to the company headquarters in Braunschweig
What You Bring With You
- Successfully completed training in the IT environment with several years of professional experience as a system administrator in the field of IT infrastructure
- Sound knowledge in the area of VMware vSphere server virtualization
- Good knowledge of NetApp storage (Clustered Data ONTAP MetroCluster), Fujitsu Eternus DX storage clusters and Brocade Fibre Channel infrastructures
- Proficiency with Windows operating systems and experience with Linux operating systems and script programming (Windows/Linux) is an advantage
- Basic knowledge in the field of network technology
- Good knowledge of German required
- High level of commitment and independent working style
- Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills and hands-on mentality
