Mystic Strike, T3

25% melee damage (from 12%)
160 spirit shield (from 80)

When you perform a Light or Heavy Melee attack against a hero, deal extra Spirit Damage with the attack and reduce the target's Spirit Resist.
18% Spirit Resist reduction (from 12%)
78 Spirit Damage (from 52)
11s Duration
8.5s Cooldown

Imbue on ability
When hitting an enemy with an ability, a shadow illusion of your hero appears behind the target and performs a Light Melee attack against them.
The shadow performs a Heavy Melee attack if the enemy is within 20m.

Notes:
The shadow can be parried.

i like the shadow idea, i think the one tweak i would make is just have the shadow be a hand or arm. I am imagining something like mage hand from baldurs gate. I can already see myself panic trying to kill the shadow if it looked like the whole hero lol. having it so the shadow sends damage back to the player could be an interesting wrinkle to the item tho

This is forcing someone to stand still and parry or receive a lot of damage, broken af.

The shadow would have a black or grey shade so I it shouldn't be confusing.
Sorry, what do you mean the shadow sends damage back, do you mean the caster gets damaged when the shadow is parried? Maybe something else?

Parrying isn't the only thing you can do to avoid a charged melee, and a light melee attack does not deal that much damage.

I'm very conflicted. At first, I thought this would be incredibly broken and taken on every spirit user just for the resist reduction on light melees. Then I thought about it for a bit, and realized that this is a t3 spirit item, mystic vulnerability already gives spirit resist reduction for dealing spirit damage, and all of the heroes that actually want to build for melee don't like to build spirit. I don't think anyone would actually want to build this item. Even Abrams would rather buy duration or actives instead of this.

Yes, it's weak compared to other T3 items, especially the stats. And it's an upgrade, so it costs more than the typical T3.

The good thing here is that the hero doesn't need to be close to deal melee damage and apply the debuff, it's much safer than Spirit Strike.
It's mostly about applying the debuff. In fact, I made it specifically to do a light melee on longer ranges so the debuff is easily applied... and it can still be applied normally with just melee attacks. I think this is better to build on long range spell spammers like Seven or Geist... or maybe supports.
